MILAN
Naviglio Grande, 08/05/2022.
It was a busy but fun day. Departed from the province of Alessandria at 6 in the morning with a sad soul (due to weather forecasts reporting rain in the north-west) arriving in Milan on the Naviglio Grande to participate in an event on art. Once I have assembled my exhibition stand, drank a good coffee and socialized with the first people who are intrigued and fascinated by my art, not being hit by any drop of rainwater (fortunately yesterday's forecasts were wrong too) I begin my performance from artist sommelier. During the day a constant flow of people passes by to admire the works of art, I also take the opportunity to present some Italian wines that I have selected and to which I have applied my artistic labels, specifically a Nero di Troia and a Chianti Riserva 2018. "Decanto" my digital artwork inspired by wines: Barolo, Brachetto d'Acqui, Alta Langa rosé, Champagne, Suvereto, Sangiovese, etc., my giant metal corkscrew designed, carved and decorated by hand, and others graphic works. The day ended with satisfaction and even some of my works found a new home, one in particular was purchased by Dr Paulillo (Milanese from Milan, those now rare to meet) a very nice person with whom we retraced some decades of the history of Italian cult films in black and white ... how many memories. Bye Milan, bye navigli...see you next time.
