A Bit About Me
Hi, I'm a trained Italian sommelier, an artist and one of the greatest European corkscrew collectors.
I was born in 1973 in Belpasso on the Etna volcano in Sicily and at the moment I live in the Alto Monferrato, in the province of Alessandria in Piedmont.

Art.
Since 2020 all my sculptures are designed, cut and decorated by hand. I started carving iron using power tools, then moved on to galvanized sheet metal and aluminum creating everything by hand.
I prefer not to use power tools for my works, so I always do everything possible to make everything by hand, all this to save precious energy and therefore respect the planet.
Art.
Since 2019 I mainly create giant corkscrews in 10:1 or 5:1 scale trying to get as close as possible to a reproduction of the original corkscrew, but when I feel inspired I also create my own fantasy corkscrews and other figures.
Wine.
I developed my profession in the wine sector by attending the course and obtaining the sommelier diploma from Fisar
Art.
In 2010 I started carving metal by making works dedicated to nature (reptiles), then inspired by legends read in books and seen on TV (Games of Thrones, Iron Man, etc.).
Art.
I started manipulating images on pc in 2001 and at the moment (only for the wine sector) I have created more than 300 digital works of art inspired by wine (when I drink a good one). The works tell the evolution of my life, from collaborations with companies in the luxury sector of Milan to the discovery of the love for silence in the vineyards and the passion for wine.
Wine.
I begin my experience in the food and drink sector by going to work in Germany near Frankfurt an Main where I study and work.
